One of many books I've worked with in collaboration with a self-publishing consultation company. They wanted to make sure that their author had a fun and quirky interior to match the cover.

The Project

I had a lot of fun with this project! I wasn’t sure how quirky I wanted to go because the main thing for me was to ensure its readability factor. So I incorporated the fun handwriting font from the front cover. Because every chapter had to do with a state, I also thought it would be fun to have each state shape incorporated into the chapter header. The author and the company loved this approach.
