The Project

My client was working with Mary who had specifically requested a feminine look for the interior of her book and she wanted pullquotes. One of the things about pullquotes is there’s a lot of things to consider. How should it look? How much space should it take? How intrusive should it be?

I decided to tie the main cursive font of the cover into the interior by making it the pullquote font. And I also wanted to use a lighter, more delicate font for the main body to create a more feminine look, but not overly feminine.
